The project is inspired by "the sticker song" (Shirat Hastiker). The song recorded by the Israeli hip-hop group Hadag Nahash, and written by Israeli novelist David Grossman.
This song is made up entirely of bumper stickers that were everywhere just two decade ago. The song was written in 2004, a very complex year in Israel. Spoiler, nothing has really changed since.
The garment reflects the boxing arena that is the divided Israeli society.
It represents the sweet dream, the Zionist ethos, that can't hold itself and the liquid slime from it anymore.
Israel's problem is that we are not really one nation, we are groups of people intertwined by the circumstances.
We have to decide as a nation what we want to be when we grow up.
